Trying to pour rain
back into a cloud,
the sound illuminating,
hesitating before us.
Holding the fear just

People die,
forced between lies
after lies.
They scream
and shout,
its pounding;
their screams
resounding;
so deafening it tries
to hold them,
bind them,
confine them
to its fate.
Pushing away,
I know we don't
have to take this

fears,
as you float like
a boat on the sea.
It holds you in its
anger,
in its happiness;
it brings a world
we think we know.
It controls us,
and we push against
trying to fight it off,
hoping we're not caught
and it will just let us go.
