My Fallen Angel

by Ichigo   Feb 8, 2007

I stand in the dark mirror of my thoughts and emotions. Falling deeper and deeper into the grip of intrigue and insanity.

But then...

Like an angel, you swept down from the heavens and pulled me away... I looked upon you in desire... Your face shining brightly as the morning dew. Your skin was as soft as a rosebud in full bloom. I wonder if such beauty is mortal or even real...

But then...

You sang to me... I began to cry... It was a beautiful sound. Like a chorus or a melody. I closed my eyes and began to listen. Emotions began to fill me as I realized... I fell in love.

But then...

Your wings began to fade away and we began to fall. I grasped you and held you tightly as we began our descent. Your lustrous golden hair flew like the wind as I promised I would never let you go.

I stand in the dark mirror of my thoughts and emotions...

But I stand with you...

I loved this. I thought that your wording was wonderful & the flow was great as well.

& when you began a new idea, i liked how you said, "But then" it kind of made me anticipate what you were going to talk about next.

    great overall 5/5
