New Road

Walking along this road is getting cold and dark
Needing a change he sees a light and decides to go
As he gets closer it continuously gets brighter
As he nears he sees what the light is
It isn't a light but a woman
This woman is much more beautiful than anyone he's seen before
They meet and she continues on his new path with him
This path is a new one for him and confusing
With her by his side he finds new strength
He is learning what my come with this new adventure
Scared and confused he is trying to be brave
He knows this road is not going to be easy
This road is one he should have been trying to change to a while ago
Now it is a sudden change and is terrifying one to be on
And every time he needs strength he feels her near his side
Who is this angel that gives him strength, helps him be brave?
Why is she helping him to pursue these toughest of times?
What makes her stay and help this fragile soul?
There is only one thing he knows
That is he owes her his best for her faith
Knowing that she is his true love he wants the best
And is going to work to bring her the world
