Pretend

by The Undoing   Feb 9, 2007

So don't tell me here, don't tell me now
Pretend you don't believe it, I don't care how
Learn to forget, leave it far behind
I'll pretend you never thought it, I won't mind.
Because I've grown with you, and I've grown for you
I've grown under you, your love proved true.
Like the roots of a tree, in the summer so light
Your loves makes me strong, and stands me upright.
