Why Were We Born Into Hate?

Why were we born into hate?
We lie and deceive
We cheat and we steal
Just so we can perceive
What others think about us

We try to hurt others
To feel our own pride
But do we really
Care what’s inside
Of that other person?

Teasing, rejecting
The feel of neglecting
Another for our benefit
To find their life is full of shit
Because of what we did.

Our parents are no help
They try to make it better
But like a towel
As it dries, it gets wetter
No matter what.

So listen all
To the facts I say
Get rid of the hate
But the pain will stay
Inside the heart.
