Good old rocko (the prequel)

by Independence Forever   Feb 9, 2007

Wham! the young fighter takes another hit
he\'d flown through all the other rounds, not willing to sit

his opponent was the ever elusive mark
but after a while his opponent was now called "the shark"

one hit then another, rocko never fell down
his face was mangled but you could tell he didn't frown

after round ten his manager was gettin worried
after ten rounds of fighting even the home crowd was getting worried

after round eleven rocko was gonna take a dive
but then his wife pops up and says "rocko is the best alive"

"i can't give up" rocko exclaims
now it is the shark whom he blames

upon round twelve one final hit was made
rocko knocked the shark out, he\'s glad he stayed

they announce he's the champ, the crowd roars
after that moment rocko feels like a bird, he forever soars

when you feel your round is up, don't despair
for the fight is not over, for it is never beyond repair

i hope you liked it, the first rocko poem didn\'t go over very well but i love his character

I liked this..it flowed well throughout, imagery portrayed created very vivid pictures in my mind and the depth and emotion in this piece was wonderfully done. the only thing i didn't like to much was that you rhymed worried with worried..it just kinda threw the flow for me. awesome ending...powerful and hard hitting with an insanely great messag behind it.
