So Right

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Feb 9, 2007

There are two types of things in this world:
Right, and
Wrong.
Nothing is truly right,
And nothing is truly wrong,
If something feels right,
You can still wonder if it’s wrong,
If something looks wrong,
You can still believe that it is right.
If something happens,
It happens for a reason,
Never believe in coincidences,
It is always the work of Fate.
That is what was taught to me,
And that is what I live by,
But then you came along, swept me off my feet,
And I was left to die.
You are the closest thing in my world
To right.
You are the only thing in my world
That is not wrong.
I can live my whole life through,
And not say this about another soul,
But you are the one I care for,
You are what makes me whole.
I yearn for the sound of your voice at night,
I long for the sense of your touch,
I hope to see your eyes
Looking out at me when I awake.
You are so right,
And yet so wrong,
You make me feel like I’ve never felt,
God, so right,
And yet so wrong,
How do I manage to make it through?
Here, on this earth,
There is so much wrong,
And there is so little we can do for it.
But there is one thing.
To have something so right,
So right as you,
In my life,
That is what suspends the wrong,
And makes life just fine.
Something so right,
It makes life
Livable.
It makes life
Right.
