Reckless Passion

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Feb 9, 2007

Burning in me,
Like a fire of late,
This flaming desire
No one can relate.

My heart feels so empty,
My soul so alone,
My world so abused,
And my words like cold stone.

And yet, I gaze deeper,
And fall faster in love,
The sorrow of leaving
This world for what’s above.

The obligation
To do what is right
Leaves me sitting and
Putting up a fight.

As much as I want to just
Let it all go,
My love is like the sun,
Reflecting against the snow.

I hide it so well,
This burning emotion,
So no one sees me
And my reckless passion.

I do what I must,
And what I must not,
I break all the rules,
Not doing what I ought.

As much as I want
To throw it all away,
I move ever closer
And here is where I sta.

Kisses and hugs,
Forever like the sun,
And I'm under the curse
Of my reckless passion.
