Choice

by TearsInTheRain   Feb 9, 2007

She had a choice
And chose the right one,
For me, anyway,
But for herself, unknown.

Such a delicate creature, I,
Ripped from her hands,
Tears graze down her cheeks.
Not understanding,
On my part at least.

I see her in my dreams,
When i wake, and
When i think.
Her and another, locked
In my locket, and
Forever in my heart.

But me, to anyone, Im
Just another notch on lifes belt,
The victim, Of choice.
