The friends we turned out to be

by Princess   Feb 10, 2007

The sun rose among the sea
The flowers sang and the birds flee
I'm standing there in the dark
Waiting for a sign or just a simple mark

Explain to me the reason why
Seeing you just makes me cry
No matter how hard I try
All this friendship was a stupid lie

Who would have thought on that Tuesday morning
In that classroom where we first met
Throughout coincidence, chance or just pure luck
A strongest friendship in gold would be set

Looking at the moon I suddenly saw
The face of a person, the face of my friend
It was just the reflection of my heart
And you turned out to be my best friend

I say that too often, yet I'll say it again
I love you, from the deep bottom of my heart
But all the things happening lately
Had raised a friendship wide apart

I don't know what I'm feeling,
I can't explain the reason why
Every time I look into your eyes
I just fall apart and cry!

Cause you don't care if I'm sad
Don't bother to see the real me
All you care about is some stupid pride
Instead of the friends we turned out to be...
