Told You So

You never seemed to listen,
To what I had to say,

Either you ignored me,
Or turned and walked away.

Just cause you didn't agree,
At that very point in time.

Staying at least to listen,
Wouldn't have been a crime.

One of these days, you'll realise,
And learn from your mistake.

We all saw it in your eyes,
That you just weren't his to take.

I hate to say I told you so,
But that's the blatant truth,

You made it really obvious,
I don't need anymore proof.
