This has been a hard couple of years
we've been through it all
through the laughs and the tears
the late nights and the phone calls

what happened to our friendship?
it ended so fast
i dont understand it
i thought it would last

we told each other all our secrets
the good and the bad
i trusted you
i gave you everything i had

then one day it all went away
its funny how things can happen so fast
best friends then enemies the next day
it was so wrong of me to think it would last

i was blinded by the fakeness in your smile
i believed all the lies you told me
i cant believe you fooled me for such a long while
it took me so long to see

i still miss our friendship though
i miss what we had
it was such a long time ago
too bad it had to end so sad
