There was joy in my life again
when i found you my friend
I wanted to be with you till the end

There was joy in my life when i saw u smile
When we sat and talked for a while

I would love to see you everyday
We were best friends who couldn't stay away
We HAD to see each other every day

Then one day we had a fight
We screamed with all out might

Since then i have seen nothing but dark
I cant stand to see kids play at the park

I used to have that friend who sits next to you in the sand
The one that holds your hand
That likes the same music band

The thought of what we had makes my life so sad

We don't call each other anymore
we don't knock at each others door

I want to be your friend
