A Representation

A representation, just a thought,
Forgets all the times we have fought,
Denies the tears their very existence,
Remains to remind with continuing persistence.

Dismisses the violence, no longer needed,
The anger, from which I was always shielded,
The silence of which I chose to ignore,
But the feelings of which I still adore.
