Looking Out The Window
As snowflakes slowly pass by
I take a deep breath and
Let out an audible sigh.

Looking Out The Window
I relive memories past
How was I to know
Those happy days wouldn't last?

Looking Out The Window
The world slowly passes by
As the present slips away
I stand here and cry.

Looking Out The Window
My reflection staring back at me
This inner turmoil is to much
Someone come and set me free.

    I enjoyed reading this poem, and I say this with much truth. It reminded me of what winter is sometimes symbolized as. Sadness and memories when one think sit too cold to step outside.Great job!
