Today I thought you left me
Simply walked away
I didn/t plan on stopping you
Or asking you to stay
Today I thought your smile faded
Turned from love to hate
I know nothing I could have said would have persuaded
You to change this hurtful fate
Today I almost cried, for fear of loosing you
Tears of shattered dreams, a broken mind
And there was nothing I could do
And no Hope that I could find
Today I thought I lost you
Turns out your still here
Tomorrow we may be through
But today I still hold you dear
Today your smile may have faded
Your heart cracked in two
But tomorrows another day I persuaded
For us to be a me & you
Today I may have cried, for fear of loosing you
But shattered dreams and a broken mind
To you is nothing new
Maybe today will be a yesterday
And tomorrow we shall stay
Together keeping each other whole
That ill always pray.
