To Be Free (Triolet)

To be free
I can't help but wonder
What does it mean?
To be free
Where is God when you're in need?
As we seem to go under
To be free
I can't help but wonder

This poem was written for a contest involving the holocaust. Isn't it amazing that some people still think it didn't exist? I think that this poem signifies more than just the Jews, though... freedom isn't just for them. It's also for every human being, no matter what race or class.

Wow! I haven't wuite seen this kind of poem before, and it was neat to be able to read something new. It made sense and was really well done. If Iwas writing a poem such as this, I would find it hard to write it! GOod job!
