The Kissing Cycle

by Kelsey Marie   Feb 11, 2007

Confusion fills my body.
I don't know what to do.
Everything is lost
Into an oblivion;
A dark despair.
Nothing seems right.
We keep messing up.
Touching and kissing,
Leading to fights and hurts.
We keep going back to it,
Like it's a drug.
An adrinaline rush
Everytime we touch.
Just once, twice, stop.
Now we're mad.
We can't believe what we just did.
There's still an urge.
Will finish it off.
Start new tomorrow.
And then tomorrow
Is a replay of last night.
Now we're not talking.
Silence fills the air.
We can't look at each other.
It's time to say good night.
We kiss good-bye.
Knowing we just started
The cycle over again.
All with one kiss.
All with one touch.
All because it's a drug.
This pain, this joy,
Will one day
Be the end of us.
