You've been there for me.
You've always been by my side.
You've helped me no matter what I did or what was going on.

You got me to realize that life wasn't right.
You got me to realize what a real mother is and means.
You got me to realize that I don't need her and really never did.
With you I didn't have to grow up at the age of 5.
With you I didn't have to be a second mother to my sister.
With you I know I can be me, and not another adult.
I can be a child, a teen, or an adult
All on my own free choice.
