Meaning

To be a poet means more to me,
Than I fear you will ever know,
Such great burdens require release,
My life through this pen shall flow.
The words I shall compose ,
Are the very words my soul screams,
For my words are often in prose,
Dictated by my most vivid dreams.

You may spurn my style,
There is a chance you may not,
But these accounts of dreams and trials,
Won't soon be forgot.
On these pages these words shall survive,
As inanimate as they may seem,
For these words are my very life,
My every hope and dream.

It takes more than just words to make a good poem. you also have to put your soul into it. which you do. i like what you said in this poem. how you explained your reasons for writing. and it is because of this that you write good poems.you really have the heart and soul of a poet.
    Love is the law.
    Love under will
