Red Raven 12-26-06©

by Amanda Clayburn   Feb 12, 2007

She fell from the building
Splattered herself on the hard concrete
Woke up and saw a read stain
The blood clot was killing her
So she picked at it to make her death faster
Killed all goodness
All systems down
She slipped onto a deep hole
Quiet and motionless
Let go of her
As the red raven called out her name
Deep color of blood on his feathers
Shook her head and in deep fright
The raven pecked away her insides
And bled her brains out
And then she died and was nevermore
