When the world doesn't mind
If you live or die,
When you could sit in the street
And scream and cry,
When you're always wondering
Why nobody's there,
Why is it so hard,
When they all don't care?
When the sun crashes down,
And the world has gone dark,
When the days are silent
Without the call of the lark,
When the moon doesn't shine,
And the stars aren't a-glare,
Why is it so hard,
When they all don't care?
If everyone would
Give way to our thoughts,
And not let them go,
And give them a shot,
Then maybe life wouldn't
