A Clandestine Love

by rectifym3   Feb 13, 2007

Beneath the antics, of juvenile
Attitude and teasing,
The feelings for you that I feel
Are truly of love, and nothing else

It is a pity that it only manifests itself
In these petty words of play; how I
Long for you so, how I want to
Touch your angelic face

I put a mask each time I see you,
To try and hold myself, and
Turn it into flirtatious ways
Which you do not take heed at

It is tearing me to keep it chained
And to say to the very least,
And to my hope, it will put me at ease
I truly love you, and always will

It was good, though the structure was a little confusing, if you dont like to rhyme why dont you try using assonance, but anyway, I really liked this and felt I could relate to it. sian x
