Our complaints to the Almighty

by Lemon Squeezy   Feb 13, 2007

If you do not believe in God you may not like this poem, otherwise, enjoy.

Stuck inside on a snowy day,
Just can't wait to go and play.
But here inside I must stay
For if I leave I will pay.

Bored all day of everything,
I just can't wait until it's spring.
For in spring I won't be stuck,
And I won't need a plow truck.

I don't like the snow at all,
I would rather it be fall,
Even summer that would do,
Anything but winter's goo.

This is how we often sound,
When there's snow upon the ground.
Even when it's spring or fall,
We're not satisfied at all.

When spring arrives we still complain,
Because we think there's too much rain.
And we think the summer's hot,
All in all, I think we complain a lot.

When autumn comes it's too much work,
'Cause over all the leaves we lurk.
We as humans need to learn,
Because of God the seasons turn.

We need not complain about,
Any little summer drought,
Or of any winter chill,
Because it's all part of God's will.

We need to unblind our eyes,
So we see blessings in disguise
We need not complain at all,
Winter, summer, spring, or fall.
