MY WOMAN

by desleeds   Feb 13, 2007

A child strolls along with mum
She guides the tot with sight for her
The steps so small she walks with care
The mother prides with kid so brave

The time has grown with years that passed
From a child blooms out a bobby soxer
Innocent face with softie fair skin
Smart and witty, bubbly with a smile

The princess fits a crown of glory
A budding flower among the lads
The apple of the eye the joy of the heart
To shield from harm is mum's word for her

A mother's care imbued with love
Caress with warmth and touch of embrace
A grown up woman turns life with light
With mum around she never gets astray

A woman infused with beauty and brain
A heart of compassion a mind of conviction
It all spell success in no time for her
As mum intervenes through faith and prayers

When heart has learned the art of love
A life anew enfolds the woman with hope
That dreams are all in horizon for her
With mum still around to keep an eye

An upheaval turns life for worse
The mum is nowhere in sight to care
Life seems in limbo for the princess
So helpless without her on hand

In times of low she cries in pain
so petrified with life without her
A wishful thinking a pipe dream now
To have her mum by her lonesome side
