The sidewalks and alleys

by Oliver Bird   Feb 13, 2007

The sidewalks and alleys
Are filling up fast
With the people united
And burning to fight it
Through posters and fliers
That down talk the liars
That all of these years
Have been slowly
Corrupting
And taking advantage
Of goodwill from strangers
That all of their live were
Unseeing to dangers
Of something you heard
Of but didn’t believe it
And all of a sudden
The truth becomes fiction
And all of the rumours
And gossip you heard of
All add up and suddenly
White clouds are darkening
The masks are pulled of
Off the people you thought you could
Trust in
And had bin you true ones for years
And those years without end
They just eat you up slowly
What side were you on?
Were you part of the problem?
Or did you in fact try to stop them
The problem
A war without end has begun
And the sidewalks and alleys
Are filling up fast
With the people united
And burning to fight it
Through posters and fliers
That down talk the liars
That all of these years have been slowly
Corrupting
And taking advantage
Of goodwill from strangers
That all of their live were
Unseeing to dangers.
