Back Alley Beautiful (Acrostic)

by Italian Stallion   Feb 13, 2007

Back alley beautiful
A
Child such as you
Kindness from deep within

And a love like no other
Loving
Like an angel
Entangled in
Your heart

Beautiful she is
Even to this day
An angel such as her
Unloved and un-understood
To this day
I love her
For she gave me hope and
Understood what
Love truly meant to me

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. Pretty straight forward, no rhyme scheme or syllable count.

Aw. I loved the title, for one thing. 'Back Alley Beautiful.' It has a nice ring to it. I loved the last lines the best, the ones that spelt out beautiful. Nice work. Beautiful poem. 5/5
