There is a girl I know,
Who is left with a shattered heart,
She would have done anything for him,
He had her from the start.

I could tell by her eyes,
She was very much in love,
The way she looked at him,
Is something she can not let go of.

Now she is left with tears,
Tears of mixed emotions,
She is crying inside and out,
Going through all the motions.

All she wants is him back,
To have the love they shared,
Day in and day out,
She was left unprepared.
