My Valentine's Tribute - For Her

by gabriel   Feb 14, 2007

A broken smile, she was the child
Who lived a sad, and lonely life
She had her dad, without the wife
Her bro and just nothing more

Her saddened face, a lonely place
The mom she missed, without the love
She found peace, in heaven above
Tears and fears that slowly pour

The broken girl with a sad smile
Gone was love forever more
Living with a pain so sore
~
She wrote a song, tried to be strong
The lyrics said, a life so sad
Her hopes then fade, the past that bled
Chasing dreams through broken door

She went to school, tried to look cool
But deep inside, needing a hand
She kept her pride, to understand
Someone who might give her more

A child with her saddened song
She wanted hope, nothing more
Yearned for someone to adore
~
The girl replaced, her empty face
Straightened her mind, a path she carved
Love made blind, her desire starved
Broken she was, sad no more

She one day met, A guy she had
Just known somewhere, Who seemed so nice
He tried to care, she thought unwise
And did not dare, she thought through thrice

Her smile could not be replaced
A lonely life wanting more
The love she could never bore
~
When he met her, it was so clear
It was she, who completed him
Thought they had fun, his hope were dimmed
One-sided love he saw

And on, he say, Valentine's Day
He wrote the girl, words from his heart
She was his pearl, his priceless art
She loved the world, and could not part

Knowing his heart really loved her
Said to her, who he adore
"I love you forever more."
