When I die...

by Willow   Feb 14, 2007

When I die,
Don't cry for me,
Don't let those tears soil your face,
And know that I am free.

Come to my funeral,
And lay white Lillie's down.
Remember to visit my grave,
And remember all the memories in this town.

When I die,
Don't let me take your smile,
Don't cry yourself to sleep at night,
For we will see each other in a while.

You are not to be the brave one,
Or the shoulder for everyone's tears.
I knew I would leave someday,
For death lies in deep in everyone's fears.

When I die,
Don't forget that life goes on,
Don't grieve for me till you die,
Go out and laugh in the sun.

The Lillie's will always be a symbol,
And my presence will always stay strong.
There will be moments when you forget me,
And there will be moments you cry to my funeral song.
