I'm still his little girl.

by Willow   Feb 14, 2007

He would hold me so high,
And make me feel like a queen.
He would never let me cry,
And he would always bandaged my grazed shins.

He would carry me to bed,
And hold when when the thunder became too much.
He always knew what was in my head,
And what I was most scared of.

He would make the world spin,
And make me laugh and smile.
He would help me work on my garden,
And sit and watch the stars for a while.

I don't spend much time with him now,
But he still means the world to me.
I may not tell him I love him,
But I would be lost if he wasn't here.

I may not dress like his fairy princess now,
But inside I'm still his little girl.
I may have grown up,
But I still dance around so my skirt will twirl.
