Our Love

by Suzanne   Feb 14, 2007

Our love is what pleases the senses,
Regarded with approval, respect and admiration.
It is a bliss we both perceive.
A series of feelings in our minds and hearts.
Neither you, nor I could conceive it as real,
For it is a challenge that we have met,
A duty that we should complete.

Our love should not be a game,
It shouldn't be toyed with
Instead it's costly and dear,
and we should care for it-
Our love is abundant, we need to retain it.
Pleasure, is this deep affection and fondness-

Our love should never be an inexplicable matter,
nor a mental distress of loss or disappointment-
But a sign of future achievements, which holds out good prospects, therefore we should prevail-

Our love is the words set to music,
meant to be sung with the sweetest of tunes-
Our love is no act or spell of confused contest,
Nor is it a tragedy faced in defiance-
It is rather an unusual and exciting experience,
To prove the courage of one's convictions-

Our love is a good fortune affectedly refined,
It shall never be broken down nor defeated,
For our love is the capacity for growth,
A bond no man could erase from our hearts,
I am quite content with the way our love is..
