UIL is a big thing these days.If you haven't heard, UIL can help you get scholarships.
UIL is when tons of students from different school districts go to one school to
compete. These schools, or students depending on the event, are competing to
find out whose best in that learning area.
The students that don't compete get to go home early, but that's not why they
don't want to be in UIL. Brandy Zachary said, "I don't think I could handle more
things (stress) piled on me." On the other hand, Haylea said, "I'm not fit for UIL and I
don't like learning activities."
Students theat are in UIL are trying to do their best. Kerby said "I've never done either
one of the two events I'm doing so I'm not sure how I'll do, but I'm reading the packets
to better myself in these events." Heather also said, "I'm studying the packets."
Jordon Riley said that, "She is practicing."
As you can see all of these students are trying to make their way to help their school
become the UIL champions.UIL is important to all of them. These students are doing
their best to succeed
