Hidden Hope

Silent prayers..
Every night..
Close my eyes..
And pray for light.

Pearls of wisdom..
Seeds of yesterday..
Look to the future..
Try to change in every way.

Another fight..
An emotional bruise..
I'm in a position..
Where I can't choose.

Hide my fear..
Hide the pain..
Try to pretend..
If only in vain.
