Everythings Ok

He acted strange all day
i wasn't sure what to say
he wanted a ride
so i called to provide
he was not ready yet
so waiting i was set
then came a knock on the door
it was him for sure!

then he found his friends
and here the good ends
he ditched me i felt sad
and maybe a little mad
then he called my phone
wanted me alone
so i went and found him
threw my arms around him
then we watched TV
his friends came to see
so i left him behind
and she showed up to blind

i was angry he didn't follow
he was mad cause his time i swallow
so then we went our separate ways
for hours that felt like days
and then i walked back past
and he ran after me fast
even with her there
he came full of care
he chased me down the hall
out into the snow fall
and held me tight and whispered softly
everything's OK
