How to explain.

As I'm sitting here listening to the rain
thinking about you
its sorta hard to explain
how i feel about you

just knowing each day
that we wont see each other the way we used to
i sorta miss you in away
even though i was the one who made it end between me and you

i thought i needed a better guy
but now that i look back at the past
i wish i didn't say good-bye
i wish it would have last

i really want to talk to you
but i know you wouldn't want to
so i don't bother try
i just let it slip by

every time I'm with a guy
I'm having fun with you outta my mind
when i kiss him good-bye
I'm leaving you all behind

I'm moving on with my life
but every time i think i don't need you
is when i need you that most
because you used to be there for me to talk to

i don't want you
i tell my self that everyday
but i need you
i wish i didn't go away

the rain is pouring
my thoughts and mistakes as they drip into our own sinks
I'm loving you
each time everyone blinks
