Purple Sunshine

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Feb 15, 2007

In a world where the sun
Gives off purple sunshine,
And the bees buzz around
In a perfect, straight line,
In a world where the peacock
Is all black and white,
And the great horned owls
Regain their sense of sight,
In a world where upside down
Was perfectly right side up,
And a full grown dog
Was little more than a pup,
In a world where the moon shines
During the day,
And the shy little deer
Come right out to play,
In a world where the bad guys
Went straight to jail,
And good little girls
Didn’t get caught in the hail,
In a world where happy was mad,
And black was white,
And good was bad,
And day was night,
In a world where everything
Was topsy-turvy,
There will be one thing right,
Our love, you and me.

That's so simple, and really cute. It's a bouncy little poem that's both fun to read, and ends with a sweet little message. It's like nonsense, with a point to it. This made me smile; you did a great job.
