Distorted Reflextion

by Meagan   Feb 15, 2007

I look into the mirror
And see a lonely face
I didn't think it could happen to her
The tears come quickly
She doesn't know who she is anymore
She wonders why people don't care
She isn't destructive like they say
Even though she has the marks
Thy make her feel better
She doesn't even feel the pain
Her parents ask if it's a sick gothic game
Her answer is cutting
And that he aren't helping her struggle
She feels all alone
And they throw her out on her own
Her life is forever changed
As they ruin every chance she had left
She stands out in the rain
And slits her wrists again
The final things have ended
As the blood drips to the floor
She cries out one last time
And I realize, she's me...
