You were gone with a blink of an eye!

I was walking the halls in school
you right by my side
my hand in your hands
we both were girls so
everyone thought we were lesbians
but we knew we weren't
but you didn't care what they thought
as long as we had each other.
then one day you came up to me
gave me a tight hug and you started crying
i had asked what was ever so wrong
but you said you'd tell me later
but i told you i want to know now sis
so you looked me in my eyes
and told me that you have to leave
you have no where else to live
you said
but I'm not going to see you for a while
because your going to another town
so you kissed me on my cheek and said
sissy i love you and we will see each other again
so i started crying
then you had told me
to remember all the good times and the bad times we had shared
then you walked away
i turned to watch you leave
and suddenly you were gone with a blink of an eye.
a year has past I'm a sophomore in high school
I'm walking the halls without you by my side
but i still miss you ever so much.
i walk the halls wondering what you are doing right now.
