Good-Bye

I can't say good-bye,
but its not like I've tried,
I know I should, and leave it there,

But I remember your stair,
I remember your touch,
and how I loved you so much,

But your words and memories,
the days with no worries,
I must let them all go,

I thought that I'd know,
how to turn around,
and ignore the sound,

the sound or our love so "true",
but after this long of loving you,
I find it so hard to let it go,

for now good-bye is all I know,
for me to go on with my life,
and sleep again through the night,

so for me to end the cry,
I must say good-bye,
(At least for now).
