Bleed on the glass

by K1n9d0m   Feb 16, 2007

I give up the life
Smash the glass
Laugh as it shatters
Take a walk on my past
Bleed on the glass that used to define me.

Take a step back
Watch a former self in a reflection
Hate him.
Then crush him.
Bleed on the glass that used to define me.

Get behind the wheel.
Feel the power of acceleration.
The heartbreak of the brake.
Then speed up.
Bleed on the glass that used to define me.

"Drive on young son."
Those are my whispers.
"Go find where you belong."
Those are my thoughts.
So my tires bleed over the glass that used to define me.

And I drove.
