My Friends

They're there for me when I'm down
Make me smile when I want to cry
The ones who remind me of all the good
When I feel like I want to die.

The ones who put a smile on my face
When it seems all I do is frown
The ones who lift me high
Instead of letting me slowly drown.

They're the ones who make me laugh
And wipe away my tears
The ones who make me see sense
And chase away my fears.

I'm truly grateful for my friends
They're the best anyone could have
Knowing that they are here
