I never thought
that things would end up this way
because those words you said
still haunt me today

you have moved on
and this i now see
i just needed to wait,
for love to find me

and just when i thought
that i had missed love
it came in the best form
i could possibly think of

i mean, i like all that's about her
even her name
i love being around her
hope she feels the same

with the damage you've done
my happiness ended
but my joy around her
can rapidly mend it
