Wishes

If I had one wish, it would be to turn my life around, to rip off these chains of passion that I'm bound.
I wish I could see my pops again,
but I know I cant, cause he done run off again.
I wish my sister could grow up knowin her father,
but I know she cant, cause when he runs, he just runs farther,
away from us,
no time for us,
he knew he wont no father, so he walked away from us.
I wish I could tell the people in my life how much they mean to me,
especially this one person, yeah you know who it be,
talkin bout I got anger problems, sayin she scared of me,
baby i know... I'm scared of me.
I've told her I would never hurt her,
I couldn't, cause damn I love her.
I wish I could get everything off my chest,
believe me I've tried my best.
This is no ordinary rhyme,
its straight from the heart and gonna stick with me til the end of time,
I done got my swagga back, now Ima get whats mine.
I wish i could just tell her and she believe me,
I think she listenin, but she just dont hear me.
I've told her i got feelings for her,
but she's been hurt in the past, sorry baby, so have i in the past,
but she needs to realize that I wanna be her future, not the past.
I wish I could take away all her pain,
but I cant, cause strength comes from pain.
I wish this game would just end,
but it wont, cause it just starts again.
