Tonight I asked my angel above
That's the feeling, the meaning of love?
Thinking a while, she turned and smile

Well what do YOU think?
She asked with a blink

I stood there quiet, just thinking through
Sought an answer, ne'er had a clue
I just don't know, I then replied
Can't remember, my love has died

Smiling she grinned, and took my hand

I shook my head and closed my eyes
A faded past passed me by

Scarcely just trying so, a past I'd let go
Just couldn't understand why
I'd allow this love to die

My angel looked and shook her head
You can't revive what was once dead

Still I couldn't grasp so clear
Like blurry lines all over me
What was it that I'd fear?
Was it a love that couldn't be?

My angel took my arms
And stared into my soul

Forget it my dear boy
That love has grown cold

Our hands snuggly clasp
She took me in her arms
