They took lives
they didn't care what was there
they destroyed
they toyed with our country
they will pay every day for what they've done
for today, guilt is on our side
they have taken lives but cannot take our American pride
they have killed and hurt but one thing they forgot about was that they have brought us together as a country
we can fight for whats right but cannot change whats been done
they have hurt us but have not yet won
they have hurt not only us but our children
today children cry out and ask why
why did they have to die
why did they break our country
was it for money or just pleasure
for it will effect every generation that will live in our nation
that country that once felt strong has gone down along the line of time
three years(i wrote this a while ago) have passed and nothing is fixed
was it hate
was it hate that crawled upon their plate
was it hate that caused 9-11
only one question remains
was it hate
