A Dark Night

by Sara O   Feb 17, 2007

Hitting with exact precision
Stars filling my vision
Waking up without a clue
Then getting a good view

Darkness blanketing the wood
Struggling did no good
Bound tight to a tree
Icy cold beyond degree

A dark figure appeared
Shrinking back, him I feared
Wearing a evil smile
Showing no warmth, just hostile

He loomed above
Staring like in love
Roughly untying rope
Destroying my last hope

Wondering of his plans
Feeling returning to my hands
Pushing me forward
Shearing pain I ignored

Inches from where we stroll
Is a huge dug up hole
Comprehension adding to dread
Shock stopping the tears from being shed

Pain streaking thru my arm
My body ringing an alarm
Trying to fight back
Then everythings black

Waking up, gasping for air
Heart weeping in dispair
As I slowly take my last breath
Laying, buried in sweet death
