Secret Love

As he watched her all day
Wishing them to be together
If only he could say
He wants to be with her forever

He watches her get on the bus
And start walking towards him
Can this be true? he thinks
Will there finally be an us

Yet fate has its way
And the angel sits away from him
His hopes are crying silently
They are torn deep and frayed

He watches her at the locker bay
Out the side of his eye
He is disgusted, he doesnt have the courage
To say one simple word, hi

Then she is gone
He lets out a small and strangled sigh
Out of his sight,
Once again a missed chance gone by

He watches her in class
He sighs in wonder
How she smiles and laughs
So perfect, so true

The back page of his book
Is covered with her name
Ten love notes for her to receive one day
Yet all he feels now is shame

He is writing her name for another day
Back page of the book
The hairs on his back stand up
She is watching me, with a look

A look of puzzle
Not knowing where to go
How she will react?
He does not know

Their eyes are melded
Not straying from side to side
Their souls are the ones talking
Nothing from him he can hide

    Great job... I love how they end up together in the end.. how sweet... I wrote a similar poem, only it was different.. lol, but anyway, back to the poem. It's emotional and very lovely. Flow and everything are superb as usual.. lol, I was attempting to find another synomn for awesome, but I've come up short, lol. 5/5 as always my friend

    I loved the poem. It is soooo sweet. He really needs to tell her how he feels. That is sort of how I feel about the guy I like. I didnt have the guts to ask him out for a year. Then i finally did it and now i am waiting on his answer.

    Anyway, great poem. I loved it. 5/5
