Girl walks into kitchen

Friend 1 : You've lost lots of weight, really

- snigger -

Voice : Ha, did you hear that ? she called you fat

- laughter -

Girl sits on the opposite chair

Friend 2 : That's a pretty skirt you are wearing, honestly

- chuckle -

Voice : What did i tell you, your too fat to wear that !

Girl smiles, lowers head, hands cover thighs

Friend 1 : Ha, i told you it would fit ! don't be modest

- Titter -

Voice : You kidding me ? look at the hips, she is lying to you !

Girl locks out the friends for tonight

Voice : See, what did i tell you, they think the same as me, how pathetic you are

Girl : i am trying, i can't... -interruption-

Voice : Don't give me that (rap ! Trying, you call that trying ? Shut up !

Girl begins to cry

Voice : Told you, your pathetic and everyone can see, parading about in your skirt thinking your something, HA !

Knock at the door, girl goes to answer.

Voice : I am not finished with you, B|t(h

Friend 3 : Hi, i made scones, do you want some ?

Girl smiles : No, thank you, its fine, thanks for asking, i am sure there good

Voice : Enough! Tell her to F*(|c OFF! We don't need their Fat

Friend 3, smiles, tilts head : You sure ? you haven't eaten today, are you sure ?

Girl, reluctant grin : Yeah, sure, i am fine, maybe later, ok ?

Friend 3 exits. Girl closes door.

Voice : Good, what an idiot. See what they are doing, mocking you then trying to feed you.

Girl : ... -hands to face-

Voice : You won't get away from the truth that easily little girl.

Girl lies on bed, clutching pains in her stomach, smelling Friend 3's cooking. Cries. Silence.

That's a very powerful piece of writing,
But more powerful, I think, a feeling to have to live through.

You don't have to listen to that vioce you know, it is a choice.

Truth is heard with our ears and our heart, it is oft the mind that decieves.
