Lets Play Some More ( voice of the curious child)

by Brandon   Feb 17, 2007

Unfortunately I was born into Unfavourable poverty,
I had no decision
But if I did, my life would have been
significant with a crystal clear vision

I lived with my mother in a shack we called home.
The kids in school made fun of me and I had no
friends, I was left alone.
I could remember how my mother struggled with two
jobs to make sure we had something to eat.
Many winters we had to suffer because the house
was freezing and we couldn't afford heat.

My father left us when I was a baby, so I grew up
without a father figure.
This was also hard for my mother, so to make ends
meet, my moyher got into the habit of being a gold
digger.

Education was my only hope to overcome this tragic
situation,
But we hardly had any money, and my mother thought
that was a bigger situaton.
Mostly everyone else was happy and well off,
compared to us they were superior.
Some say its God's work, if so, I think God did
a great job at making us inferior.

One night I asked my mother why our lives were so
sore,
She told me our lives were like a checkers board
and the game was far from finished, so lets play
some more!
